Be my Valentine…

Valentine’s day is coming up, and im not really to fond of it for one reason. Instead of it being a day of relationships, it has become a day solely for the ladies. Now I have no problem giving praise and admiration for God’s greatest gift to this world, but i just think this day should be shared by both. I’m going to keep this point short, but let me tell you, men like to get things for Valentine’s Day as well. We may not show it, but when a woman breaks outside of the norm and does something sweet for Valentine’s  it makes a man feel good, and to a higher degree than you would think. Try it ladies, give a man you care for a rose and watch him blush. Try taking him out, or buying him a card-whatever it takes to show him that he is just as special to you, as you would like to think you are to him. I remember when i first got my little Valentine’s gift, i can admit that i almost shed a tear. It was a poem, and a bear, and it totally caught me off guard. You see i would always give, give, give, not once did i ever think about recieving. But when i did it was truly an overwhelming moment. All of a sudden i felt like i had a true value to this woman and held a special place in her heart. I mean she told me this all the time, but that poem confirmed it. And it wasnt that the poem was all that good, it was simply the fact that she took the time to write it. She sat down and thought about what i meant to her, and put it into words. So this Valentine’s Day, ladies, if you never have before, try making it feel like it’s his day too-and i know you can do better than a card and sex.

For you single ladies, please don’t take being alone on this day so hard, you are alone for a reason. I hate to see women get caught up with just any old guy get just because Valentine’s day has left them vulnerable.  Seeing couples get’s you down because you are single, but you have to realize that this is probably the only day they really even get along! No worries, your time will come, and if you are patient by resisting the temptation of setting for anything just because you feel like you need something, someone will come along to share EVERYday with you as if it were Febuary 14th.
